Illinois is a sports state. They have representation in every major professional sport. plus several high-profile college teams in Basketball and football. That makes for a state that loves to bet on sports. Currently, BetRivers is one of the top online sports betting operators offering services to Illinois residents. To compete with other top operators, BetRivers has posted a decent "Welcome Bonus" offer. Take a look at the following bonus details.

The current BetRivers Welcome Bonus was offered in Illinois on September 1, 2023, with a posted expiration date of March 31, 2023. Illinois residents can claim this bonus after they finish registering with BetRivers and proceed to make an initial cash deposit of at least $10. They will need to use the SPORTS bonus code when doing so.

After completing these initial requirements, new customers will need to make their first sports bet. That bet can be placed on any market offered by BetRivers. Also, there is no minimum odds requirement list for this bonus in the terms and conditions.

If a new customer's first bet ends up being a losing bet, BetRivers will give them a 100% rebate bonus up to a maximum of $500. This bonus will be issued as a bonus bet within 24 hours after the losing bet settles. After receiving their bonus bets, bonus recipients will have to wager them within the next 7 days before they expire. The minimum odds requirement for the bonus bet is -200.

If any winnings are earned with the bonus bet, the net amount of winnings will be awarded as cash that can be withdrawn at any time.

As part of the BetRivers registration process, new customers will need to be in the state, using a Illinois IP address. They must also be prepared to offer proof of age
with the Illinois minimum online gambling age set at 21 years old.

By law, BetRivers is only allowed to accept Illinois sports wagers from customers who are actually in the state. The operator uses geo-framing software to help them confirm the physical location of every customer. No exceptions to this law are allowed.
