This ranking only list online sports betting websites authorized in the state of Arizona.

Before Arizona could enact sports betting legislation, Gov. Doug Ducey needed to rework compacts with the state's Tribal Nation. He was successful at doing that, something he accomplished in April of 2021. After the U.S. Department of the Interior approved the new compact, the state legislature was able to pass house bill HB 2772.

Under the provisions of that law, the Arizona Department of Gaming was authorized to approve 20 sports betting licenses. Those 20 licenses were to be distributed as follows: 10 allocated to the state's Indian Tribes and the other 10 going to the state's pro sports franchises.

With sports betting going live in September, here is a list of entities that have already received sports betting licenses to date (sports betting partner):

  • Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation (Betfred)
  • San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe (Betway)
  • Ak-Chin Indian Community (Fubo)
  • Hualapai Tribe (Golden Nugget)
  • Fort Mojave Indian Tribe (SuperBook)
  • Tonto Apache Tribe (Twinspires)
  • Fort Yuma – Quechan Tribe (Unibet)
  • San Carlos Apache Tribe (WynnBet)
  • Phoenix Mercury (Bally Bet)
  • NASCAR (Barstool)
  • Arizona Rattlers (BetRivers)
  • Aruzona Diamondbacks (Caesars Sportsbook)
  • TPC Scottsdale (DraftKings)
  • Phoenix Suns (Fanduel)
  • Phoenix Coyotes (TBD)

Licensees will need to pay an annual license fee of $150,000 and taxes on sports betting revenue at a rate of 8%. Both of these amounts are very low by industry standards.
