In the state of Illinois, sports fans have to decide early in their lives if they are going to support the Chicago White Sox or the Chicago Cubs. It's simply not acceptable for anyone to offer their support to both teams. Raking a page from Chicago sports fans, Caesars Sportsbook Illinois has posted a very special promotion that targets Chicago White Sox fans and sports bettors. The operator's "White Sox MLB Sweepstakes" promotion is currently underway, and here are a few of the promo details.
The Caesars Sportsbook White Sox MLB Sweepstakes promotion kicked off on May 1, 2023, and will remain in effect until June 16, 2023, at 11:59 pm ET. During the promo period, customers will need to go through an opt-in process one time to take part in the offer. Good news! New participants will get one free entry into the sweepstakes drawing by completing this process. After that, they will need to earn entries by placing qualifying wagers.
There will be two qualifying wager types that lead to earning entries. Participants can earn three (3) entries for every $25+ Parlay wager with minimum odds of +300. It can be a regular parlay, same-game parlay, or a super parlay. Participants can also earn one (1) entry for every $25+ Pregame/Live Wager MLB wager at odds of at least -200. There is no limit on the number of entries participants can earn.
The sweepstakes drawing will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. At that time, fifteen (15) winners will be named at random with the prizes being awarded as follows:
The grand prize winner will receive Form 1099G from Caesars. That means they will need to claim the estimated value of their winnings on their 2023 tax returns.
