BetRivers Indiana Moves "Squares" Promo to the NBA

It's hard to argue with the fact that the Super Bowl "Squares" promo was highly popular. Tens of thousands of online sports bettors participated in that offer. Given the popularity of the offer, it's not at all surprising that BetRivers moved the offer to designated NBA games. As a reminder, here are some of the key terms and conditions tied to the BetRivers IN "Squares" bonus promo.

The BetRivers IN Squares bonus promo first hit the operator's bonus menu on February 15, 2023. It is scheduled to remain an active bonus until the end of the NBA's regular season, which is scheduled to end on April 9, 2023. Bonus participants will not have to opt into this promo to participate. However, they will need to make qualifying wagers at minimum odds of at least -500.

A qualifying wager in a bet on a designated NBA game. Designated games will be marked with the Squares logo. As participants make qualifying wagers they earn squares connected to the designated game. Squares are allotted as follows:

• Accumulated wagers of $20-$49 will get one (1) square
  
• Accumulated wagers of $50-$99 will get two (2) squares
  
• Accumulated wagers of $100 or over will get three (3) squares
  

Each revealed square will have two numbers between 0-9. The number on the left side will be assigned to the visiting team with the number right side being assigned to the home team. The number will be used in connection with the last digit of each team's final score.

Example: With a final score of 123 (HT) - 112 (VT), the winning squares would be the ones that show a 2 on the left and a 3 on the right. The standard winning amount will be $20.

If bettors also make live in-game wagers of at least $20 on the same designated game, they become eligible to receive "boosted" winnings. The boosted winnings will be determined at random as follows: $25, $50, $100, $1,000, or $10,000.

Any winnings awarded over $600 will be reported to the IRS under the winner's Social Security number. They will have to claim that amount on their 2023 tax return.
