The Masters golf tournament is generally considered the premier PGA Golf tournament in the world. Getting that coveted "green jacket" is the childhood dream of every aspiring golfer in the world. For spectators, seeing the Masters at Augusta is something that belongs on every golf enthusiast's bucket list. It's good to see that Caesars Sportsbook in West Virginia is going to make it possible for one golf fan and sports bettor to be at Augusta for this year's Masters. The operator's "Win a Trip To Augusta" Promo is available right now under these terms and conditions.
The Caesars Win a Trip To Augusta Promo will be running from February 5, 2024, until March 24, 2024. All registered Caesars Sportsbook customers in West Virginia will be allowed to participate in this promotion. That extends to new customers the moment they finish the registration process.
This is a sweepstakes drawing promo with two ways to enter. Each customer can mail in one entry with no additional requirements. The second way is to earn entries by betting on other PGA Golf events during the promo period. It works as follows:
Participants can earn one (1) entry for every $10 they wager on the top 5, 10, or 20 finishes markets for available tournaments. No limits have been placed on the number of entries each customer can earn.
The drawing will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024, in the afternoon. One (1) winner will be announced, and they will have 48 hours to respond to their notification. The grand prize will include the following:
While the appraised value of this promo is yet to be determined, it will surely exceed the IRS' threshold for gambling winnings. Therefore, Caesars Sportsbook will be required by law to issue the winner an IRS Form W-2G for the appraised value. It will be the winner's responsibility to claim that amount on their 2024 tax returns.
