Over the last few months, top U.S. sports betting operators have been competing feverishly for business from New York online sports bettors. This matters because NY is the #1 sports betting market in the U.S. Since sports betting went live in NY, PointsBet has done a great job of competing for business with some truly lucrative bonus offers. Now would be the right time and check in with PointsBet and review the operator’s current welcome offer. We invite interested parties to read about the details of this offer below.
The current PointsBet NY welcome offer started on September 1, 2022. The operator intends to keep this offer on the bonus menu until March 1, 2023. While new customers are not required to go through an opt-in process, they will have to make a series of qualifying in order to try to claim this welcome bonus.
The available bonus from PointsBet NY includes four (4) risk-bonus bets with a wagering value of up to $200. It works like this.
New customers will have four (4) days from completion of the registration process to make their first sports bet. After making the first bet, the next three qualifying bets must be made in the subsequent three days. The first sports bet each of these days will be tied to this offer. There is no minimum odds requirement tied to any of these bets but all of these bets must be made at fixed odds. If any of these first four (4) bets lose, PointsBet will reimburse the new customer based on 100% of the bet up to a maximum reimbursement of $200.
All bonus bet bonuses will be issued within 24 hours of the qualifying bet being declared a loser. After receiving access to their bonus bets, recipients will have to use the bonus bet monies within seven (7) days. If any recipient so chooses, they may split a single-day bonus into four (separate wagers.
Example: Recipient receives a $200 bonus bet. They can place it as a $200 bet, two (2) $100 bets, or four (4) $50 bets.
After meeting the seven (7) day wagering requirement, bonus recipients will be allowed to withdraw any net winnings they garner from their bonus bets. If any bonus bet amounts don’t get wagered by the deadline of seven (7) days, those amounts shall be forfeited.
All new customers at PointsBet NY must be NY residents who are over the age of 20 years old.
