The easiest bonus for a sports bettor to claim is the requisite "Refer-a-Friend" bonus. Every mobile operator offers a referral program because word-of-mouth marketing requires very little in the way of advertising. It only requires a willingness to pay existing customers a small bonus for referring friends and relatives. At Fanduel in Michigan, the Refer-a-Friend promo stacks up pretty well against the competition. Here are some of the promo details.
Fanduel's current Refer-a-Friend bonus program for existing Michigan customers was introduced at the beginning of the year. It is scheduled to expire on June 30, 2024, unless Fanduel's management decides to extend the offer. Registered customers can refer friends and relatives and claim this bonus as long as their accounts are in good standing. Each existing customer will be allowed to claim up to five (5) Refer-a-Friend bonuses every 30 days. The process works like this:
To refer a friend or relative (the referee), the existing customer (the referer) must provide the referee with a special registration link that identifies the referring customer. Using that link, referees must complete the registration process. After that, they will have will have 30 days to complete the following requirements:
After the referee has completed these requirements, both the referee and the referer will become eligible to receive this bonus. This bonus comes with $50 in free sports bets for the sportsbook and $25 in casino credits that can be used in the Fanduel Casino. Fanduel will issue all referral bonuses within 72 hours after referees have completed the aforementioned requirements.
The free sports bets can be wagered in any increments. There are wagering requirements that need to be met before any bonus monies will be converted to cash, which can be withdrawn. Information related to these wagering requirements can be found in the promo's terms and conditions.
Only individuals present in the state of Michigan can register with Fanduel in Michigan. At the time of registration, new customers must meet the 21 or older online gambling age requirement. Additionally, each new customer must agree to interact with Fanduel while using a Michigan IP address. That includes all wagering. It will be Fanduel's responsibility to verify the physical location of its customers.
