While PointsBet might not be the most recognizable name within the U.S. sports betting community, they actually do very well at competing for business. They successfully do that by making sure they put forth a welcome offer that is both creative and potentially lucrative. If you live in New York and are looking for a new online sports betting home, you should take a moment and read the details attached to PointsBet New York's current welcome bonus offer.
The current version of the PointsBet NY Welcome offer was introduced on September 1, 2022, and it will not expire until next year on March 1, 2023, at 11:59 pm ER. To participate in this offer, new customers will need to register with PointsBet, make an initial real cash deposit, and start placing sports bets on any available sports betting market.
This promo covers each new customer's first five (5) sports bets. That would be the first bet made each day for five consecutive days starting with the first day the account is opened. If any of those five bets end up being a losing wager, PointsBet will issue a refund of the bet amount. The refunds will be calculated based on 100% of the value of the qualifying bet up to a max bonus of $100 per bet. That's a potential welcome bonus of $500 in bonus bets.
Bonus bets vouched will be issued within 24 hours of bet settlement. Once received, bonus recipients will need to wager their bonus bets within the next seven (7) business days. Bonus bet vouchers not wagering with the deadline set forth by the wagering requirement will be forfeited and removed.
Each day's bonus bet voucher can be divided into four (4) separate bets. Example: a $100 bonus bet voucher can be wagered once at $100 or four (4) times at $25 per bonus bet. If any bonus bets result in winning bets, the new customer will be allowed to withdraw any of their net winnings. Net winnings do not include the actual amount of the bonus bet.
PointsBet NY reserves the right to alter the terms and conditions at any time during the promo period. That does include the right to suspend or terminate the offer without giving customers notice.
When new customers register on the PointsBet NY website, they need to be ready to prove their age (need to be over 20) and be in NY as they register.
