As the competition for new business increases, sports betting operators in each state are being forced to think hard about putting forth better bonus offers. This is becoming increasingly necessary as U.S. sports bettors become savvier about selecting an online sportsbook with which they want to gamble. Realizing this, it's not surprising to see that PointsBet in Illinois recently upgraded its "Welcome Offer" for new customers. As the offer stands now, here is a peek at the current terms and conditions.
The upgraded Welcome Offer at PointsBet Illinois went into effect on May 8, 2023. Barring any sudden changes by management, the current offer is expected to continue as it until November 4, 2023. To claim this bonus, new customers will need to complete the registration process, using the WELCOME10 bonus code. After completing these requirements, participation is as simple as placing a series of sports bets.
To initiate receiving a bonus, new customers will need to place one fixed odds sports bet every day for ten (10) days straight. The wagers can be on any available sports betting markets at any available final odds. If the string of ten (10) straight days of betting is interrupted, the bonus offer is cut off at that point.
A bonus will be paid for any of the ten (10) bets that might end up being losing bets. Each bonus amount will be calculated at 100% of the qualifying bet amount up to a maximum bonus payout of $100 on each bet. If a new customer loses their first qualifying $100 bet each day for ten (10) straight days, they can claim a total of $1,000 in bonuses.
All bonuses related to this offer will be awarded as free second-chance bets. Each earned bonus bet token will be deposited within 24 hours of the qualifying losing bet being settled. After getting access to their bonus bet tokens, new customers will need to fulfill any remaining wagering requirements before they will be allowed to make any cash withdrawals.
New PointsBet customers in Illinois will need to be at least 21 years old and be in-state when they complete the registration process.
