Online gambling was legalized in Illinois in June of 2021, and online sportsbooks immediately started offering games for residents of Illinois to participate in.
FanDuel, one of the country's most popular options for online sportsbooks, is known for its long list of betting options and new player bonuses.
February's promo sees FanDuel offering new players a chance to receive a bonus bet up to $1,000. New players can take advantage of this promotion as soon as they signup, and no promo code is required. All Illinois gamers have to do to participate is make a new account and place a bet.
It works like this: new players can place their first bet up to $1,000, and if they don't win, FanDuel will credit the account for the wagered amount. You can't cashout this bonus cash, but you can use it to try and win your money back.
The $1,000 No Sweat First Bet isn't the only promotion that FanDuel currently offers. Currently, FanDuel is running their $5 Dinger Tuesday event. It requires players to place a minimum bet of $25 on an MLB game. Players will receive an extra $5 bonus bet for every home run scored during the game.
The UFC Parlay Insurance is another popular promotion. It allows players to receive back $25 of their bet if exactly one of their legs loses. In addition to the UFC Parlay Insurance, FanDuel also offers players a chance to receive bonus cash back if their wagers opponent wins a fight but doesn't win by the specified win condition.
