Being one of the top sports states in America, the population of sports bettors in Michigan continues to grow every month. That puts a lot of pressure on Michigan online sports betting operators to do what they can to compete for new business and to keep existing customers happy. With an eye on drawing as many new customers as possible, PointsBet has recently changed up its Welcome Offer. It’s a competitive offer. Here are some of the terms and conditions tied to this offer.
The current PointsBet Sportsbook Michigan Welcome offer started on September 1, 2022, with the intention of it continuing until March 1, 2023. This offer stands as a “risk-bonus bet” offer based on the following details.
After completing the PointsBet registration process and making their initial deposits, new customers become eligible to receive up to $800 in bonus bets. To earn a bonus bet, they must place a fixed odds sports wager on any available sports betting market. If a qualifying bet loses, the new customer becomes eligible for a 100% rebate of up to $200.
Each new customer will get a chance to earn four (4) of these bonuses if they make a qualifying bet over four (4) consecutive days, starting with the first bet on the first day. If a customer doesn’t place a qualifying bet during any of the next three (3) days, the bonus bet opportunity will be forfeited for that day.
In each instance where a bonus bet is made available from a losing bet, bonus recipients will get their bonus bets in the form of sports betting vouchers within 24 hours. After the receipt of each bonus bet voucher, recipients will need to use them within the next seven (7) wagering days. Should any free wager go unused, it will expire and be forfeited without any value. If bonus bet vouchers are wagering on time and result in winning bets, the bonus recipient with be entitled to withdraw their net winnings. No other significant wagering requirements are tied to this promotion.
PointsBet management has posted this offer for the sole benefit of newly registered customers only. As part of the PointsBet Sportsbook Michigan registration process, new customers may be asked to prove they are over the age of 21. They may also be asked to restrict their online sports betting activities to wagers made while they are physically located in the state. Locations will be verified.
