Prop Central Opens at BetRivers

With both NCAA college football and the NFL officially underway, U.S. sports bettors are coming to life. All of the bettors who avoid the NBA and MLB are now coming out of the woodwork to place wagers on their football favorite teams.

Each year, the top U.S. online/retail sports betting operators go in search of ways to improve the sports betting experience for their customers. While a lot of operators will try to do that with lucrative bonus offers, there is the occasional operator that will step up and find a truly innovative way to give its customers more and better ways to wager on sports. This year, the award for betting innovation has to go to Rush Street Interactive and its BetRivers online sportsbook platform.

Rush Street Launches Its Prop Central Concept

If the Super Bowl has done nothing else for sports betting operators, it's fair to say that "The Big Game" has taught them how much U.S. sports bettors love prop bets. Each year, each U.S. operator will post hundreds of proposition bets related to Super Bowl teams and players. Bettors love these wagers because they can potentially get great returns for small bets. According to some industry experts, more than 50% of all Super Bowl bets are on propositions.

That's all Rush Street Interactive (RSI) needed to know. They have used that information as motivation to launch its "Prop Central" platform via its BetRivers mobile app. The new platform has been designed to give bettors access to more player-related propositions bets as well as make it easier for them to navigate through the platform with fewer clicks.

In a press release picked up by PlayUSA, Richard Schwarts, CEO of RSI, stated:

“With the popularity of props betting, we created Prop Central to give RSI’s bettors an easier way to navigate and wager on props.” He added, “Additionally, Prop Central will provide bettors with continuous pregame and live updates on wagering choices, which will make watching their favorite players and sports even more engaging for our bettors this season.”

The announcement of the launch of Prop Central came immediately after the conclusion of the initial NFL Thursday Night Game between the Detroit Lions and the Super Bowl Champ Kansas City Chiefs. The Lions upset the Chiefs in Kansas City by a score of 21-20 in a thrilling game.

Squares Promo Stays Alive at BetRivers

During the 2023 NFL playoffs, BetRivers introduced its Squares bonus promotion. Squares is a take on the traditional office pools Americans have been playing for years. It proved to be such a popular promotion that RSI and BetRivers management used the promo during the NBA season.

Squares is back for every NFL game and most NCAA college football games. Participants will be able to participate in a new and improved Squares promo that gives them a chance to win as much as $10,000 in bonus money when a final score matches up properly. Smaller prizes will be available, including the chance to get a profit boost of 25% on games that provide near misses for gamblers.
