June 16, 2021

This article is dated June 16, 2021, content related to promotions is no longer valid. Any promotion described below has expired.

Throughout the country, U.S. bettors have shown a keen interest in betting on single-game parlays. A single-game parlay features multiple legs from a single game, most likely prop bets. To further encourage Illinois sports bettors to wager on an MLB or NBA single-game parlay, PointsBet Illinois is offering a new promotion. They are calling it the MLB OR NBA Single Game Parlay Insurance offer. For interested Illinois sports bettors, here are a few of the details on this offer.

This is an ongoing promotion that is expected to continue until further notice. As long as this offer is in effect, sports bettors can participate in it by wagering on an MLB or NBA single-game parlay. If they wager on a single game parlay with at least 4 legs and they lose the bet by exactly one leg, Points Bet will offer a refund of up to $25 on that losing bet.

The qualifying wager has to have cumulative odds of at least +100. Only the bettor's first 4 legs or more single game parlay each day will be considered for this promotion. The maximum amount of parlay insurance being offered by PointsBet Illinois is $25. Bettors can participate in this offer once a day.

The cash rebate will be issued as a single bonus bet. Bettors will have seven (7) days to use their bonus bet or watch it expire. The promo comes with a one-time rollover requirement.

Other Terms and Conditions:

1. Only Illinois sports bettors who are properly registered with PointsBet are eligible to take part in this MLB OR NBA Single Game Parlay Insurance offer. PointsBet will retain complete control over this promotion, giving them the right to dictate terms and conditions.

2. All participants must meet the following qualifications if they want to participate in this promotion:

  • Be at least 21 years of age when they place their qualifying wagers
  • Have a physical presence in the state of Illinois at the times they make all of their qualifying wagers
  • Cannot be employed by PointsBet or advertiser/affiliate of PointsBet. Also, family members of these groups are excluded from participation
