In a highly competitive Illinois sports betting market, online bookmakers are forced to compete for new customers. While traditional marketing efforts will help grow a customers base, it's the referrals that seem to keep bookmakers moving forward. In an effort to keep its customer base growing, PointsBet Illinois has its own version of a "Refer a Friend" offer. For existing bettors who might be interested in benefitting from this offer, here are a few of the terms and conditions.
At this time, this should be considered an ongoing promo. While PointsBet Illinois can change or terminate this offer at any time, it currently remains in effect as is. In order to qualify to receive a Refer a Friend bonus, existing customers must meet the following conditions:
If an existing customer meets these conditions, they are eligible to receive a bonus as soon as the referred new customer makes an initial real cash deposit of $20. After a qualifying deposit has been made, both the new customer and the customer who made the referral will receive a bonus of $150.
Each existing customer is eligible to receive a total of three referral bonuses a year, receiving a max of $450. For the rollover requirement related to this promotion, customers need to refer to the promo's terms and conditions.
When any customer is transacting with PointsBet Illinois, they are required by law to be in the state of Illinois at that time. PointsBet is charged with the responsibility of tracking customer locations. Software that identifies IP addresses is being used to confirm customer locations.
