DraftKings Updates It Welcome Bonus Promo in Michigan

That includes DraftKings Sportsbook, which has updated its Welcome promo across the board. Here is a look at the promo terms and conditions that have been presented to residents in the state of Michigan.

The new version of the DraftKings Welcome Bonus offer was presented in Michigan on February 12, 2024. This version will be available until it expires on March 17, 2024, at midnight. At that time, it will be up to DraftKings management to extend, remove, or redesign the offer. During the current promo period, the bonus will be made available to new Michigan customers who have completed the operator's short registration form.

After completing the registration process, new customers will get a chance to claim this Welcome bonus if they do two things. First, they will have to make an initial deposit of $5 or more within 30 days. After that, they will have to place a qualifying sports bet. By definition, a bet will count as a qualifying bet if the bet amount is equal to or greater than $1. The bet with no odds restrictions can be placed on any sports market that is listed by DraftKings.

If a new customer's first bet scores as a losing bet, they will be entitled to receive a 100% "No Sweat" refund up to a maximum bonus payout of $1,000. The total payout will be issued as a bonus bet within 24 hours after the losing bet has been recorded. The bonus bet will only be valid for seven (7) days before it expires. If a bonus bet comes back as a winning bet, the new customer will be entitled to the winnings. However, they will only get the NET WINNING, which does not include the amount of the bonus bet. Withdrawable cash will be paid to winners.

In Michigan, online gambling participants must be at least 21 years of age. They will further be required to initiate all online gambling activities via registered Michigan IP addresses. DraftKings Sportsbook is required by statute to track its customer locations, something the operator does by employing geo-framing technology. The law is clear, and no exceptions will be permitted.
