With just a little more than a month until the 2024 Masters Golf Tournament, golf fans and sports bettors are starting to show more interest in golf. This will be the first major event of the 2024 PGA golf season. It presents Caesars Sportsbook in New York with an opportunity to put forth a bonus to entice customers to bet on golf events. The operator's "Win a Trip to Augusta" promo is available now, and here are some promotion details of note.
The Caesars Win a Trip to Augusta promo will be running in New York until its expiration date of March 24, 2024. If customers want to take part in this promotion, they will need to opt in and start making qualifying bets.
Bets will be counted as qualifying bets if they are placed on any available gold markets that involve top 5, 10, or 20 finished. The minimum odds requirement on these qualifying bets has been set at -200.
For every $10 that they wager on a qualifying bet, participants will receive one (1) entry into the sweepstakes drawing. There is no limit to the number of entries that customers can accumulate.
The actual drawing will be held on March 25, 2024, sometime in the afternoon. There will be one (1) winner selected who will be notified by email. The winner will receive the following Win a Trip to Augustus prize package:
The value of this prize package exceeds the IRS threshold for gambling winnings. Therefore, Caesars Sportsbook will be issuing an IRS Form W-2G in the name of the winner. The winner will be required to report the gross value of the prize on their 2024 federal and state tax returns.
The prize package will only be made available to persons over the age of 21. Participants will need to be in the state of New York when they opt into the promo and place their qualifying bets.
Prior to the promo expiration date, Caesars management will have the right to make changes to the promo as they see fit. They are not required to give notice.
