In the world of U.S sports betting, things tend to move fast. It only took three years for Americans to receive access to the nation's first sports betting exchange.

A betting exchange is like the stock market. The betting action occurs between two bettors with no bookmaker serving as a middleman. One sports bettor (the oddsmakers) is permitted to post a game on the exchange with odds and other sports bettors (the customers/bettors) are given the opportunity to accept the wager should they choose to do so. The only thing the actual exchange platform gets is a 2% commission fee from the bet winner.

The Prophet Sports betting Exchange is available to PC/laptop users and mobile app users. The mobile app is compatible with the iOS and Android operating systems.

To become a registered customer of the Prophet Sports Betting Exchange, the customer will need to go through the registration process. Betting Markets and Betting Options

It's important to keep in mind that sports exchange betting in the U.S. is a new concept. As such, customers should expect that the available betting markets and betting options are going to be scaled down. In the future, more markets and options might be added as technology advances.

For now, the only available sports betting markets will be focused on U.S. sports leagues. That includes the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, WNBA, and NCAA football/basketball. In the future, PGA and NASCAR betting might be added.

As far as betting options, the only options available will be straight bets with either point spreads or money lines. For the time being, there is no practical way to offer parlays and teasers. Maybe future odds and prop betting will be added in the future.

Note: Live in-game wagering is not a practical betting option for an exchange platform due to time restrictions and other logistical issues.
