When Evolution Gaming took control of Netent (formerly Net Entertainment) in late 2020, the company made clear its intention to be the premiere online casino games supplier in the world. Evolution Slots Coming to Delaware

As a part of the recent press release, it was further announced that Evolution slots will be immediately available in Delaware under the BetRivers Casino brand. It's noteworthy that Delaware was one of the first states to legalize online casino gambling. The legalization came by way of a law that was passed by Delaware state legislators long before the SCOTUS removed the country's ban on sports betting.

Delaware marks the sixth state in which Evolution's slot portfolio with be available. The software developer's live casino gambling portfolio just went live through Caesars Casino in New Jersey just last month. In Delaware, Evolution online slots will now be available through the following four (4) licensed operators:

The Delaware Online Casino Market Shines Bright

In recent months, iGaming revenue across Delaware has been jumping. In February 2024, the Lottery announced that revenue for the month came in at 71% over the revenue that was reported in February 2022.

With Evolution coming to town, the numbers figure to keep improving. Some of the increase can be attributed to the entry of White Hat Studios into the market in recent months. Last Ditch Attempt to Get Online Casino Legislation Passed in Maryland

Under the sponsorship of state Delegate Vanessa Atterbeary, an online casino bill has been presented to Maryland's House Ways and Means Committee. Ms. Atterbeary serves as the chair of the committee.

The bill was presented to the committee in conjunction with a House budget that is being presented with $300 million that's listed as online casino tax revenue. This is a last-ditch effort to get legislation for online casino gambling passed before the final 2024 legislative session comes to an end. It might pass unless the tax revenue number gets slashed from the budget at higher levels.
