A week after announcing its bespoke studio initiative partnership with Evolution Gaming, Caesars Entertainment Interactive is back in the news. The company has announced it will also be developing its own online casino gambling content through a new partnership deal with Bragg Gaming Group.
When Caesars announced they would be creating live casino games in-house in partnership with Evolution Gaming, it signaled that the company is going all-in in its drive to be a leader in the U.S. iGaming industry. It marked yet another in a long line of strategic moves that seemingly intend to set the company apart from the competition.
Via a public press release, Neill Whyte, Chief Commercial Officer at Bragg Gaming Group, stated:
"We’re thrilled to be kicking off this exciting new content and technology project with Caesars for its online casino platforms." He later added, “We have decades of expertise and know-how, as well as the full technology suite to build, launch, and operate the highest quality online casino games, and we look forward to expanding our strategic partnership with the Caesars team to enhance the player experience through innovative and exclusive gaming content creation.”
It's noteworthy that Caesars and Bragg have already been working together to develop a relationship of sorts. This new partnership agreement serves to memorialize what has already been going on behind the scenes.
This new deal gives Caesars Entertain immediate access to Bragg's online casino software hub. It's a one-stop suite of iGaming tools that includes Bragg’s Fuze platform, which was created to keep online casino gamblers engaged with options like
In recent months, Caesars & Bragg have worked together to create exclusive video slot games, like Egyptian Magic and Boardwalk Slots. These games have proven successful over Caesars Palace's digital platform in states like Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and north of the border in Ontario Canada. The applicable online casinos include
In his own press release, Matt Sunderland, Senior VP President & Chief iGaming Officer with Caesars Digital stated:
"Bragg’s technological expertise has consistently exceeded our expectations throughout our partnership. This expansion marks an important step in our strategic growth plan to develop our own proprietary digital slots and table games content and to offer something truly exclusive for our players."
While DraftKings recently abandoned its efforts to maintain a bespoke studio for live casino games, the rest of the industry's top players seem to be trending more toward creating proprietary online casino content. That's evident through 888 Holdings' partnerships with NetEnt and Playtech, and GVC Holdings' partnerships with Yggdrasil and Red Tiger.
It will be interesting to see where things will be headed in the future as the U.S. iGaming market continues to expand.
