The Kindred Group Signs Major Deal in Pennsylvania

Things are really heating up in the US online casino gaming market. As state after state opens the door to allowing its resident to gamble online, the world's top online sports book and casino operators are battling it out to make its mark on the world's newest market. 

News was just released that the Kindred Group has just signed a deal to provide gambling content for the Mohegan Sun Pocono group in Pennsylvania. According to the terms of the deal, the Kindred Group will be providing its services over the next five years with a possible extension of services for the two years following. 

The services will be provided under the Unibet brand. The Kindred Group is one of the largest and most powerful gambling conglomerates in the world. The company was founded in 1997 to provide sports betting services in bet shops and casinos in parts of Europe. As the gambling industry made its move to the Internet towards the end of the 20th century, the Kindred Group was among the first gambling operators to provide gamblers with online services. 

Over the years, the Unibet brand has added a complete menu of other online gambling options, including horse racing, casino, live casino, bingo and poker, all with a full range of betting options. 

With this deal in the bag, the Kindred Group has made clear its intention to be a major player in the US market. This is the second market the group has secured with a significant deal, New Jersey being the first. 

Over the next couple of years, the US online gambling can expect to see strong competition among major online operators like William Hill, 888, bet365 and Paddy Power. 

In reference to this new exciting deal between the two groups, Aviram Alroy, VP Interactive Gaming at Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment, commented, "We’ve aligned with one of the best online casino and sport book operators in online regulated markets which will allow us to offer best in class experience to our existing customers as well as attracting new ones. The introduction of the Kindred offering to the market is a great positive for Mohegan Sun as well as the state of Pennsylvania.”
