RLX Gaming Arrives in Pennsylvania Via BetMGM

In recent months, there has been a rash of new and established European software developers bringing their wares to the U.S. online casino gambling market. Under the ownership of the Kindred Group and Relax Gaming, the RLX Gaming brand has officially arrived in Pennsylvania.

This makes the second U.S. online casino market to get exposure to RLX Gaming's content, with the first market being New Jersey. This European-based software developer hit the New Jersey online casino market in December 2023 through a partnership with BetMGM Casino.

As was the case in New Jersey, Relax Gaming just signed a content deal with BetMGM's operations in Pennsylvania. That opens the door to residents in the Keystone State getting access to hundreds of the developer's video slot titles. It's noteworthy that some of the content comes from third-party resources while the rest comes from Relax's development studio.

In a press release, Relax Gaming CEO Martin Stålros stated:

“We’re extremely excited to continue our U.S. ambitions with the go live in Pennsylvania. We have had a very encouraging start in New Jersey together with BetMGM, and we’re delighted that our games resonate so well in the market." He later added, “Launching in a new state allows us to continue our upward trajectory and progress further in the US market in 2024.”

On behalf of BetMGM, Oliver Bartlett, VP of Gaming Product & Content told the press:

“As the first operator to bring Relax Gaming/RLX Gaming to the States, we are excited to continue to expand to new markets."

Relax Gaming was founded in 2010 and is currently based in the online gambling mecca of Malta. The company is operating under licenses and the regulations set forth by the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission.
