WPT back to Choctaw Casino & Resort in Oklahoma
April 13, 2022The World Poker Tour (WPT) will return to Choctaw Casino & Resort in Durant, OK with a Main Tour event from May 13-16 featuring a $3,800 buy-in and a $2 million guaranteed prize pool. The final six players will play the final table in the HyperX eSports Arena on May 26.
“The commitment to creating a premier poker experience is a way of life at Choctaw Casino & Resort. I look forward to seeing which players will move on to compete at the final table at the end of May”, said Adam Pliska, CEO of World Poker Tour. “WPT joins us in our shared goal to provide the best poker tournament experience possible”, added Bob Barnes, table games manager at Choctaw Casino & Resort. “We have seen intense interest in our WPT events, and I am confident that this one will be no different”
Additional events will be hosted from April 28 to May 16 as part of the 2022 WPT Choctaw festival. Furthermore, players at WPT Choctaw will be also competing for the WPT Player of the Festival leaderboard.
