PokerStars joins forces with the Philadelphia Flyers

PokerStars announced a new partnership with the National Hockey League’s Philadelphia Flyers, becoming the first poker brand to collaborate with the team.
As the official sponsor of the Philadelphia Flyers, PokerStars will work closely with the team to offer its players the chance to win Flyers tickets and exclusive signed memorabilia through special poker tournaments as well as via monthly sweepstakes on PokerStars Casino.

According to the terms of the agreement, PokerStars branding will also be featured at all home games at Wells Fargo Center and during TV spots, enhancing PokerStars presence in North America. Rob Battista, Senior Director of Commercial, PokerStars North America said: “We are thrilled to partner with such a beloved hockey team. Hockey fans are some of the most passionate in the world, and we can’t wait to collaborate with the team to bring exciting tournaments and rewards to our communities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.” The partnership follows on from PokerStars partnerships with fellow NHL team the Detroit Red Wings in Michigan, and Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment in Ontario, which owns the Toronto Raptors (NBA) and Maple Leafs (NHL).
