Online casino games, poker, sports and horse racing betting websites authorized in USA
The online gambling market in the United States is growing by degrees. Lottery and horse race betting have been the only gaming industry in the country that has offered online means. In 2014 the lottery and horse race betting markets continued flourishing, benefitting from the expansion of the online gambling industry that brought us both virtual casinos and card rooms. The new platforms for the online lottery market are being tested and brought to the new online markets much before the country started developing the online gambling market. The new providers and operators are now working together bringing out the most advanced online technology to the table. This is the case of Virginia’s Lottery online platform, which has signed for a five-year deal with Neo Games. Neo Games (Technology Company) and Pollar Banknote (lottery operator) will be the ones in charge of providing lottery to the US state of Virginia. The state’s lottery platform will go through new development with all new systems such as software, hardware, and even an independent draw-based games system. Neo Pollard, joint venture between Pollard Banknote and Neo Games, will bring to Virginia a much more secure online platform where residents of the state will be able to manage their accounts through the Virginia Lottery's website.
Virginia Lottery executive director Paula Otto commented: “This has been a long-planned modernization to our existing subscriptions program. The Virginia Lottery has been a leader in lottery subscriptions, offering subscriptions sales through the mail since the early '90s, and subsequently adding an internet purchase option about a decade ago. Through this initiative with Neo Pollard Interactive, we will be able to build on this history by better leveraging technology in order to meet consumer demand and grow our player base in a responsible manner to the benefit of all Virginians”. Neo Pollard’s co-chief executive officer Ilan Rosen said: “We are excited that our new and innovative draw-based games solution has been selected to be the engine for the Virginia Lottery's eSubs offering. This is the second North American lottery that will soon launch this player-centric solution, which was developed with a mobile first approach, and we are confident that it will drive growth and become an important part of the Lottery’s overall future strategy.”
