While the online casino market is still growing but decidedly mature, the U.S. online casino market is by far the faster-growing online gambling market in the world. This has not been lost on dozens of the top casino game software developers in the world, developers that are looking to get game exposure through the U.S.’s top online casino gambling operators.
In the following sections, we are going to look at two casino game content contracts that were recently signed, one in Connecticut and one in New Jersey.
In a recent press release, Bragg Gaming CEO announced that his company had just inked a content deal to provide its video slots and table games through the DraftKings mobile app, which is operational in Connecticut.
This is what he told the press: “Following our entry into the Ontario iGaming market three months ago, our entry into Connecticut is another important proof point of our North American growth strategy, which will continue to accelerate as we debut our offerings in additional states as they enact regulations.”
Of course, this is Bragg’s first move into the U.S. market. They are currently signed to provide the company’s content in Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania through other U.S. operators. At this point in time, it is not clear whether or not Bragg will get the opportunity to sign other deals with DraftKings, perhaps even in West Virginia.
Some of the top games featured in the Bragg Gaming library are Get Hot, Gypsy Riches, and Triple Jewels on the slots side and table games like 21+3 Progressive Blackjack and Ripley’s Big Wheel.
Not to be outdone by the Bragg Gaming announcement, management at Wizard Games has announced they will be expanding their reach in the U.S. market through a new content deal just inked to provide more than 120 online casino games to the fine people of New Jersey. With this announcement, the Wizard Games library is now available in West Virginia and in NJ through the following online casino sites: BetMGM, Borgata Casino, and Party Casino. It’s worth noting that both Borgata and Party Poker are BetMGM partner sites, carrying all of BetMGM’s online casino content.
Of the 120+ games that are currently in the Wizard Games library are popular slots like Dragons of the North, Spirit of Mustang, and Wolf’s Riches.
As for what the future holds for this upstart software development company, there appears to be an opportunity to enter more U.S. online casino gambling markets through the BetMGM online/mobile platform. According to Oliver Bartlett, director of gaming at BetMGM:
“Wizard Games combines innovative mechanics with exciting gameplay and themes, and we’ve been very impressed with how the products have performed so far.”
He later added, “Expanding our relationship into a new market is a logical next step for both parties, and we’re confident that it will have a positive outcome.”
It looks like things are heating up in the U.S. online casino market heading into fall.
