Bovada will not take more players from Delaware and Nevada

July 2, 2014

Residents of the US states of Delaware and Nevada will not be accepted anymore in the game rooms of Bovada after a decision that the company made a few days ago. The news has traveled all around the country as this is clearly the result of a bad managed market which offers no other choices to online gambling companies than closing their online game rooms. Bovada, under Bodog Network’s operations, is also considering withdrawing from the third US state that has legalized and regulated the online gambling industry so far. But any of the efforts from these three US states has stopped the company from closing its doors to new players. The online gambling industry in the United States is being impaired by some of the land-based casino owners who has infiltrated the US lobbies to gain politicians favors to stop with is imminent: the development of the online gambling industry. Bovada’s Bodog has been the only remaining gaming network in the United States after the Black Friday interdict which has banned the industry until last year. This withdrawal means an ultimatum to the US gambling states to work on better development plans for the future of the industry. Bodog and Bovada both represent the largest online gambling network in the United States so this decision could finally be used as a tool to fight back all those politicians, organizations and land-based casinos’ magnates who are looking forward to a change but not for the benefit of the online gambling industry.

The online poker US network is still waiting for a change on a federal level but, many online poker rooms and networks are beginning to question whether the government will finally make a decision on this matter. In the meanwhile, other networks have stopped offering services to those US states where online gambling industry has been already regulated as well as to other US states. Among these networks, Bovada’s Bodog has been the first one to stop services on Delaware, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey and New York. Merge Network will do the same on Delaware, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Utah, Washington State and Washington D.C. Winning Poker Network will leave out Delaware, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, Washington state and Washington D.C. Equity Poker Network will not be available for Hawaii, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, Nevada, New York, Utah, Virginia, Washington State and Washington D.C. Revolution Poker Network is not accepting players from Delaware, Kentucky, Missouri, New Jersey or Nevada.
