The Twinspires $100K Kentucky Derby Prep Race Leaderboard Competition Promo is Back

Last year, Twinspires offered a Kentucky Derby Prep Race Leaderboard Competition. The promotion was such a huge success that the horse race betting platform has decided to bring it back for the 2023 horse racing season, leading up to the 2023 Kentucky Derby to be run on the first Saturday in May. For U.S. horseplayers who missed out on a chance to participate in this competition last year, here are some of the key terms and conditions.

The Twinspires $100K Kentucky Derby Prep Race Leaderboard Competition Promo will cover all Kentucky Derby Prep races, starting with the Gun Runner Stakes at the Fairgrounds on December 26, 2022. The last race on the schedule will be the Lexington Stakes on April 15, 2023, at Keenland. In all, there will be a total of 32 races after races run in 2022.

To participate in this great contest, Twinspires customers in the U.S. will need to opt into the contest from the Twinspires bonus menu. After getting through that process, Participants will need to start placing qualifying bets on designated Kentucky Derby Prep races.

Qualifying bets must meet the following criteria: they must be win bets of at least $25 on a single horse on any or all of the remaining prep races. Only the first qualifying bet in any of the races will count toward this offer.

After placing qualifying bets, participants will earn points based on where their selections finish in the designated races. Points will be awarded as follows: 10-4-3-3-1 for finishing 1st through 5th place.

When the contest ends, total points will be tabulated, and the top 100 winners will be announced on April 17, 2023. The total contest purse of $100K will be distributed as follows:

• 1st Place = $15,000 cash and a VIP trip for two to the KY Derby
• 2nd Place = $10,000 cash and a VIP trip for two to the KY Derby
• 3rd Place = $8,000
• 4th Place = $6,000
• 5th Place = $4,500
• 6th Place = $4,000
• 7th Place = $3,500
• 8th Place = $3,000
• 9th Place = $2,250
• 10th Place = $1,500
• 11th Place – 15th Place = $1,250
• 16th Place – 20th Place = $1,000
• 21st Place – 30th Place = $800
• 31st Place – 60th Place = $500
• 61st Place – 80th Place = $300
• 81st Place – 100th Place = $100

All winners will be notified by email and will be responsible for any tax liability associated with their bonus winnings.
