WSOP Nevada and Ultimate Poker will be offering payments cards to help solve problems players have in depositing and withdrawing money from regulated online gaming websites in the state.
WSOP.com already introduced a NETELLER option in New Jersey and has received approval to use the company’s Net+ card at its Nevada online poker room. The US version of Net+ is a pre-paid Discover card that players can use to make deposits and withdrawals, with access to cash via ATM machines. At the moment, players can only use the service to make deposits using either Visa or Mastercard but withdrawals should be available in the near future. Ultimate Poker is using the same system, which is also used by Borgata Poker, Borgata Casino and PartyPoker in New Jersey. “We are pleased that Borgata is offering our new NETELLER and Net+ Card stored value offering to its customers,” stated Neil Erlick, executive vice-president business development, Optimal Payments, when the partnership was announced. “Our innovative new payment service provides these market leading brands with our new advanced secure payment option that will support their growth in New Jersey.”
The solution will help players deposit and withdraw money, as some backs continue to refuse to process gaming transactions, even though state regulated poker websites are now legal.
