Since the market went live on October of the last year 2013, the Delaware State Lottery has been able to generate $250,000 in net revenues from internet gambling, and that is only in the period between the months of October and December of 2013. Delaware is following New Jersey's steps, as the golden state of New Jersey was able to generate more than 7 millions of dollars in gross gaming revenue in just the first month of operation.
Delaware State Lottery, the official US regulator in this state, has made public some data, giving us an idea about the weight of some online games such as poker. Delaware State Lottery released the figures from its last reports confirming that, at the present, online poker is the most profitable of them all. The regulator's has released some data with poker as the most important industry in the state as online poker rooms are drawing revenues of almost $70,000 during the month of November and more than $100,000 during the month of December of 2013. Other casino games such as roulette, blackjack and slot machines have brought in some revenue as well; online table games have generated over $45,000 on only the two last months of 2013, November and December. Online lottery is another of the products that Delaware has been providing to its residents, generating more than $30,000 on sales. Delaware Park keeps leading the market in Delaware over its rivals Dover Downs and Harrington Raceway.
