Michigan Championship of Online Poker to start on February 20

FOX Bet and PokerStars are celebrating their launch in Michigan with the first ever Michigan Championship of Online Poker (MICOOP). Starting on February 20, the new poker event, which features more than 50 tournaments and buy-ins ranging from $20 to $500, is featuring $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The series will run from February 20 to March 8 and culminates with a two-day $300 buy-in Main Event on March 7-8, featuring a guaranteed prize pool of $125,000. “Coming off the launch of our real-money gaming brands in Michigan, it is clear that players want the world class offerings that only PokerStars can bring”, said FOX Bet CEO Kip Levin. “As the sole online and mobile product in Michigan, our commitment and investment in PokerStars is vital as we aim to bring all aspects of a great customer experience to the poker community. The COOP series has already delivered record-breaking tournaments to players in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Players can win entry to the series via satellites and other free and low-cost routes, meaning poker players of all levels have the chance to scoop a MICOOP win.
