BetRivers is one of America's most progressive online gambling operators. Under the ownership and management of Rush Street Interactive, the operator has done everything possible to provide an array of online gambling services in 14 states to date. That includes states where the operator's online casino platform is available, states like Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
To keep the ball rolling forward, BeRivers has just released its new state-of-the-art online poker platform. The platform is called "Run It Once Poker" and will initially start offering online poker-playing services in Pennsylvania.
This concept has been in the works since the middle of 2022. The platform was designed by and purchased from Phil Galfond. Going forward, BetRivers through its management will be marking its online poker room part of its U.S. strategy to become a true Full-service online gambling operator.
As a professional poker player, Galfond had this to say in a press release:
"As poker players, we designed this platform from the ground up to be for the players – all players. From the amateur playing their very first hand to the sophisticated pro, everyone was kept in mind as we focused on fairness, excitement, and generous rewards that truly benefit the player. I’ve been heavily involved in the game design, promotions, and policy decisions, and, more importantly, in building an incredible team that sees online poker the way I do."
Note: After ticking all of the right regulatory boxes in PA, BetRivers was green-lighted by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) to include this new poker platform among its choices. The state's other approved online poker platforms include WSOP.com and Borgata Poker.
As the competition among online poker providers intensifies, it's incumbent on new entrants into the online poker market to offer value to new players. With that in mind, here's a look at some of the key features that are available now on Run It Once Poker:
Pennsylvania is being treated as a testing ground for this new platform. Meanwhile, BetRivers is pursuing the appropriate licensing in other states, including Michigan and New Jersey. In the future, the operator will continue working with Galfond to innovate new games and new game-playing features.
Online poker players in Pennsylvania must be at least 21 years of age. They will be required to use the BetRivers poker platform while physically located in the state. The operator will use geo-tracking technology to track the location of its players.
