Virtual Sports Coming To A Casino Near You
May 9, 2016
When it comes to the casinos, they have provided gaming options for just about every type of gambling interest their is. However, one area that has not been adequately breached in North America is virtual sports. That is until now. The company known as "Inspired" is about to become the first to bring virtual sports into the North American market for gamblers to enjoy.
Virtual sports can be thought of as a video game version of a real sporting event. Essentially, the game plays out on a screen with virtual players. While the action on the screen may be virtual, the bets and the outcomes are very real. A gambler decides beforehand which wagers he or she would like to make, and then they allow the game to play out before their eyes.
This genre of gaming is popular with many players because there is not much of a time lag to it at all. For example, the virtual horse racing games can have a new horse race starting every few minutes. It makes for much faster action and much faster outcomes than if one was to go to the real horse track and attempt to wager there all day. It is not uncommon for races at the real horse track to have 20 or more minutes between each race. Virtual horse racing is much faster.
The first casino in North America to roll out this style of gaming is going to be the Golden Nugget casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. They have partnered with Inspired to be the first casino to try out this still rather experimental type of gaming. It is something that other casinos are almost certain to follow in the footsteps of the Golden Nugget with. The reason being simply because the gamblers are asking for it, and also because it is such a profit generating machine.
The United Kingdom, Italy, and China already have games like this brought in by Inspired, and they have proven very successful in those markets. If that record continues in the United States, expect these games to expand rapidly across the States.
