Borgata Poker Features Six Figure Sunday High Roller Tournament in NJ

October 25, 2023

As an online poker provider, Borgata Poker does a great job of making sure its customers have access to a lot of different promotions. One of the most popular promos on the promo menu right now is the "Progressive Knockout Bounty Tournaments" promo. It is available for online poker players in Pennsylvania under the following details.

In Pennsylvania, the Borgata Progressive Knockout Bounty Tournaments promo was first offered last year. As an ongoing promotion, it will remain available until management at Borgata Poker or the PartyPoker Network decides to change or cancel the promotion. As sponsors of this promo, they do have the right to take these actions without having to give customers advanced notice.

Progressive Knockout Bounty Tournaments will be available every Thursday at 8:00 p.m. EST. The entry fee will be $320 to be divided as follows: $150 buy-in to the prize fund, $150 into the player's bounty pool, and $20 as an administrative fee. Entries can be paid with real cash, Tournament Dollars. or a Tournament Ticket. Initial entries will be accepted until 7:55 p.m. After that, late registrations and rebuys will be accepted until the end of blind level 15.

The game will be No Limit Hold’em with a guaranteed prize pool of $7,500 for each tournament. All players will start with $75,000 in chips per entry. For the people who have never played in a bounty format, here is how it works.

As a player wins a hand and completely eliminates another player in the process, they will get 50% of the eliminated player's bounty fund in cash with the other 50% going into the winning player's own bounty fund. If two players chop the hand, both players will get an equal portion of the loser's funds.

The final prize fund will be determined based on the amount of money collected from buy-ins with a guarantee fund of $7,500. The overall winner of each tournament will get the biggest portion of the prize fund, plus they will ultimately end up with all of the bounty monies. The number of places to get minor prizes will be based on the number of entries.

Prize funds will be distributed in less than 24 hours after a tournament has ended with a winner. Since prize money will be distributed as cash directly into each recipient's wagering account, there will be no further wagering requirements placed on the money. That money will immediately be available for use or withdrawal.

All PA participants must be physically located in the state or in a state where playing online poker is legal. Also, they must be over the age of 20 years old. By law, Borgata Poker is required to confirm the age and locations of its customers.
