In the early fall, the historic Churchill Downs opens for a brief early fall meeting, which heads into the Keenland meeting that leads the way into the Breeders Cup. Since Twinspires share ownership with Churchill Downs, it makes perfect sense that the horse race betting platform would want to open up a promo that focuses on the fall meeting. With that in mind, Twinspires has put forth a new bonus promo called “Churchill Downs $10 Bet Back.” Here are some of the key details associated with this offer.

The Twinspires Churchill Downs $10 Bet Back promo will remain in effect for U.S. horseplayers until October 2, 2022. Prior to participation in this promotion, U.S. horseplayers will need to go through the Twinspires opt-in process. After participants complete this task, they will have a chance to claim the bonus associated with this offer by making a qualifying wager.

By all appearances, it looks like Twinspires management will be designating 3-4 races for this promo each day during the promo period. Qualifying wagers will be a $10 win bet (the first $10 win bet) on one horse in a designated race. If a horseplayer’s selection does not win but manages to finish 2nd or 3rd, the horseplayer becomes eligible to receive a rebate bonus of $10.

Before the bonus will be paid at all, the designated race must have at least six (6) horses at the starting gate. In order to issue the bonus for a 3rd place finish, the designated race must have at least eight (8) horses at the starting gate.

If a Twinspires horseplayer qualifies to receive the $10 bonus, they will receive said bonus on the day following the racing day on which they earned the right to the bonus. For this promo, the bonus amount will be issued in the form of cash directly into the recipient’s Twinspires wagering account. Since the bonus is being awarded as cash, recipients will not need to complete any further wagering requirements before they will be permitted to withdraw the bonus amount.

Twinspires is only permitted to operate in states where horse race betting legislation has been passed. All participants in this offer must abide by the minimum age requirements in their respective states. In most states, that age has been set at 21 years of age or older.
