In Pennsylvania, bounty-style poker tournaments have proven to be very popular. It's not surprising that Borgata Poker PA is planning an entire weekend that will be devoted to a series of bounty-style tournaments that will ultimately lead to big prizes for a lucky few. It's the "Bounty Blitz Weekend" promo being presented by Borgata Poker and the PartyPoker network. Prospective participants can review the details below.
The Bounty Blitz Weekend promo is scheduled to run from Thursday, March 16, 2023, until Sunday, March 19, 2023. During the promo period, Borgata Poker players in PA will be allowed to enter up to two (2) tournaments each day.
There will be a total of nine (9) bounty tournaments during the promo period with top winners getting a chance to face off in the $50K GTD Main Event to be held on Sunday, Match 19. The entry fees range from $20 to $1,000 with money allocated to registration fees, prize pools, and bounty pools. The prize funds will be awarded based on total prize funds and participation. The bounties will have to be earned by knocking out players along the way as follows:
During any given hand, players will have a chance to eliminate "all-in" players. Each time they do so, they will get that player's entire bounty account with 50% of it allocated as their own cash winnings, and the other 50% being added to the winning player's own bounty account. The more players a player directly eliminates by winning a hand, the more cash and bounty funds they will accumulate.
Registration fees may be paid in cash, tournament dollars, or tournament tickets. Each individual tournament will allow for re-entries TBD by blind raises in each event. The big target for top players will be the $50K prize fund of the GTD Main Event.
Participation in these Bounty Blitz tournaments will be restricted to players who are registered in states that allow online poker and cross-state tournament play. Pennsylvania is one of these states.
By law, online poker players in PA must be 21 years of age or older. When playing poker, they must be physically in the state in which they are registered.
Both Borgata Poker and the PartyPoker Network will have the right to alter this promo's terms and conditions at all times. Should they decide to prematurely cancel the promo, they will also have the right to do that as well. Also, bonus disputes are to be resolved with either of these parties having the final word.
Borgata Poker employees and their family members may not enter these tournaments.
