After a 10 year hiatus, Lone Star track management has decided to bring back the popular Lone Star Million Day. This is a racing day that fans will want to circle on their calendars.

Lone Star Million Day will be held on Memorial Day, May 31, 2021. With a race day card that will include average purses of $252,000, horseplayers will be able to wager on the following stakes races:

• $400,000 GIII Steve Sexton Mile for 3-year-olds and up
  
• $300,000 Texas Derby for 3-year-olds at 1 1/16 miles
  
• $200,000 Ouija Board Distaff on turf for 3-year-olds and older F&M
  

There will also be other stakes and Maiden events worth $36,000.

To ensure TwinSpires horse racing fans will have ample opportunity to build a bankroll for Lone Star Million Day, the horse betting provider is offering its Lone Star Million Bet Club! Promo. For interested parties, here is how the promo works.

With the Lone Star Spring/Summer meet starting on April 22, 2021, that too shall be the start of this promo. Every day that a horseplayer wagers $100 or more on the races at Lone Star between opening day and May 23, 2021, the horseplayer will earn a $5 bonus to go towards wagers to be made on Lone Star Million Day. Should a horseplayer wager at least $100 on every day the track is open during the promo period, the horseplayer will earn an additional wagering credit of $100 to be used on Lone Star Million Day. Should a horseplayer wager at a cumulative $10,000 or more during the promo period, they will earn an additional $500. If a horseplayer wagers $100 every day of the promo period and hits the $10,000 mark, they will have earned a grand total of $700 in betting credits.
