Ready for the 2025 Breeders Cup?

With Fall fast approaching, the thoroughbred horse racing industry will be starting its preparations for the 2025 Breeders' Cup Championships. This year's event will be held on October 31 & November 1 at Del Mar Race Course in Del Mar, California. The event consists of 14 international races that cover all important divisions within the horse racing community in North America.

With only 7 weeks to prepare, trainers and owners will be plotting their final tune-ups heading into the event. In some cases, trainers will forgo a prep race and train right up to the proper races.

As a horseplayer, now is the time to start looking at key contenders for each race. Early handicapping preparations could lead to picking more, perhaps finding value on a long shot or two. It's a wonderful two days of racing that will help settle divisional championships. Inline horseplayers should be on the lookout for future book wagers on some of the races. It's a great way to catch a good price if you have a strong opinion before race week.
