The status of online gambling legislation in New Hampshire seems to remain in a constant state of flux. Every time a new piece of legislation seems ready for debate, circumstances appear to derail the state's progress.
With that being said, New Hampshire has joined the ranks of states that are allowing online sports betting. Online sports wagering made its official debut in the state in late 2019. At the present time this is the only form of online gambling permitted, excluding the iLottery which can be played online.
New Hampshire also permits horse racing betting through independent online racebooks like the one operated by TVG.
The New Hampshire Lottery oversees online gambling legislation in the state. It has chosen to allow DraftKings to be the primary provider of online sports betting. These apps are available to any adult of legal age that is located within the state's borders.
Fans of online casinos and other types of online gambling are hopeful that the success of online sports betting will prompt more legislation. New Jersey could stand to make millions in tax revenues and licensing fees by permitting online casinos.
