FanDuel Introduces the Tee Off Classic

02/18/2017

It's been a long road, but fantasy sports provider FanDuel has finally stepped up to the starter and is ready to launch Fantasy Golf on its site. To commemorate this historic event, they have introduced the "Tee Off Classic."

The Tee Off Classic offers contestants the opportunity to ultimately win a first place prize that includes an exciting VIP trip for three people to join Hall of Fame running back Jerome Bettis of the Pittsburgh Steelers on a designated course for a free round of golf. This could be considered a real chance of a lifetime.

In order to qualify for the Tee Off Classic finals to be held on March 30, 2017, FanDuel has designated nine qualifying events to gain access. The entry fee on each event with be $2 per entry with the top 100 finishers advancing to the aforementioned finals. As of this writing, four contests are already in the books, but five exciting qualifying events are still on the schedule. While the designated sport for said qualifiers is yet TBD, there's a good chance that NBA Basketball and perhaps golf will be in the mix. Cash prizes could be available from qualifying events.

Once a contestant has made it into the finals, they automatically qualify for a share of the guaranteed prize package being offered from the Tee Off Classic. Here's a look at what's available:

Grand Prize - One round of Golf for three people with Jerome Bettis as the fourth. The prize package also includes travel expenses.

2nd Place thru 50th Place - An officially autographed item from Jerome "The Bus" Bettis.

51st Place thru 900th Place - An automatic entry into the FanDuel Golf MEGA Masters contest, which is scheduled to be held on 4/6. This will be FanDuel's first Fantasy Golf contest built around one of golf's four major PGA events.

With the Tee Off Classic already underway, prospective contestants are encouraged to visit https://www.fanduel.com/tee-off-classic and sign up for one of the remaining qualifying events schedule over the next month.
