WatchandWager Extends Pari-mutuel Deal With Hong Kong Jockey Club

In the latest horse racing news from around the world, the US-based licensed advance deposit wagering service WatchandWager has announced it has completed a deal to extend its prior parimutuel wagering agreement with the Hong Kong Jockey Club - HKJC, which is represented worldwide by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Race Betting for betting operations.

Under the terms of the extended agreement, WatchandWager will be permitted to continue participating in the parimutuel wagering pools for member race tracks of the HKJC. The initial agreement was signed prior to the 2013-2014 racing season and is now scheduled to continue through the 2017-2018 racing season.

According to Ed Comins, a representative from Webis' (WatchandWager's parent company), “This is a groundbreaking deal that looks set to significantly improve WatchandWager's performance long term as well as likely increase the growth of international money into the HKJC. It is an honour for WatchandWager to renew its partnership with the HKJC and to be able to offer world class racing to our customers.
