Depending on your entry fee, you will have a chance to win a maximum of 18 seats to the Championship.
There are many different benefits of choosing to participate in the November Championship Satellites. First and foremost, it is an economical way to qualify for the Championship which typically has a $500 buy in amount. This contest offers entry fees at just $25, $50 and $75. There is also no takeout, meaning that the complete prize value of Championship entries that are awarded will equal the total entry fees for the sold out contest. You are also able to play one or two entries per contest, giving you more chances to win. Players who are maxed out are able to play for cash prizes. Players who have won the maximum of two entries to the Championship are able to then play for the cash value of the $500 entry fee.
The TwinSpires Online Handicapping Championship is a tournament event. Those who have qualified through the November Championship Satellites or have paid the $500 entry fee will be eligible to win up to $10,000 and entry to the National Handicapping Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada. The championship format includes $2 Win/Place bets with payouts capped at $42 for Win and $22 for Place. Winners are to be determined by the highest total bankroll from all of the wagers within the contest. The top 50 finishers during the Online Handicapping Championship will earn cash prizes and Vegas seats.
