The 4th annual TwinSpires Online Handicapping Championship is scheduled to take place on November 29, 2014. This major event carries a $50,000 purse along with 50 combined seats to the Horse Player World Series and the National Handicapping Championship. How to Qualify

From November 2nd through the 28th, players will have multiple chances to qualify for as little as a $25 entry fee during the VIG. Free Championship Satellites at TwinSpires.com. Prior to November 29th, players must purchase a NHC Tour Membership for $50 in order to be eligible to win a National Handicapping Championship seat. Depending on your entry fee, you will have a chance to win a maximum of 18 seats to the Championship.

Championship Format

The TwinSpires Online Handicapping Championship is a tournament event. Those who have qualified through the November Championship Satellites or have paid the $500 entry fee will be eligible to win up to $10,000 and entry to the National Handicapping Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada. The championship format includes $2 Win/Place bets with payouts capped at $42 for Win and $22 for Place. Winners are to be determined by the highest total bankroll from all of the wagers within the contest. The top 50 finishers during the Online Handicapping Championship will earn cash prizes and Vegas seats.
