Betting on horseracing is regulated by each state although horse races' betting is very popular on the state borders through legal pari-mutuel gambling. This sport holds one of the most important world championships, the Triple Crown, series of three races on Kentucky Derby, the Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes.
