Unlike sports bettors, horseplayers tend to place a lot of wagers on any given racing day. They create a large volume of bets through their original bankrolls and the winnings churn over and over throughout the day, week, or month. As a little extra perk for placing large volumes of horse racing wagers, Twinspires has created a VIP rewards program that gives horseplayers a chance to earn benefits by placing all of their bets through Twinspires. Here is some important information related to the Twinspires VIP program.
New customers are eligible to start earning VIP points the moment they complete their Twinspires registration process. After completing that process, it’s very easy for horseplayers to start earning points. All they have to do is bet on races from their favorite tracks.
Points are earned as follows: 4 points are awarded for each $1 wagered on a racetrack owned by Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI), and 1 point is awarded for each $1 wagered on all other racetracks. The list of tracks owned by CDI includes but is not limited to the Fairgrounds Race Course, Presque Isle, Turfway Park, and the historic Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby.
As points are earned each month, horseplayers can progress through four tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. The higher a horseplayer goes, so goes the multipliers that determine how many total points are awarded at the end of each month. The multipliers are set as follows:
Twinspires will typically award points within the first five (5) days of the month after the prior month has been concluded. After points are earned and awarded, horseplayers can use their points for certain benefits. The benefits include wagering credits or Brisnet.com services with a 20% discount. Wagering credits do come with a 1x playthrough requirement before any associated winnings can be withdrawn.
This VIP program is restricted to Twinspires customers who have registered from a state where online horse race wagering is permissible by law. When registering, new customers must be in their states of residence, and they must meet their respective state’s minimum online wagering age requirement. In most states, that number is 21 years of age.
Twinspires employees and their relatives will not be allowed to benefit from the operator’s VIP program.
