Legal Gambling USA
Online casino games, poker, sports and horse racing betting websites authorized in USA
There are finally signs that Washington may be about to change its stance on online gambling. In truth, Washington has never been an unfriendly state to online casinos and other types of gambling. It has simply preferred to withhold an opinion.
There are a few tribal casinos located in the state, and this always seems to slow down the progression of online gambling legislation in some areas. However, making online casinos legal in Washington could have positive consequences for casinos that are located on tribal lands.
In early 2020 Washington became the first state of the year to legalize sports betting. Governor Jay Inslee has given his signature to ESHB 2638, a bill that makes provisions for retail sports betting on tribal lands. This is not what many in the state had hoped for, but it may be the best that is going to happen for a while.
The current law makes no provisions for the inclusion of mobile or online sports betting. Many are hoping that the state will ultimately see the benefit of letting tribal casinos and other gaming companies expand their operations with mobile betting apps.
