Some progress in the state of Kansas has been made, but the state maintains a conservative outlook, slow to adopt online gambling. Luckily, they do offer options for those interested in online casino games, and Kansas has loosened its strictness from how it used to operate.

You can gamble at many of the offshore casinos because they don't fall under the jurisdiction of the state, but it isn't technically legal. Kansas operates six tribal casinos, and they have four state-licensed casinos.

In 2018, the Supreme Court overturned PASPA, which restricted all but a few states from legalizing sports betting. Furthermore, the prospects of legalization in Kansas look even bleaker than that of Arkansas where they don't have any current legislation to legalize online gambling.

This region of the country remains highly conservative, and you don't see much for the legalization of online gambling anywhere here. The only exception to that rule is the state of Colorado with its online sports betting.

You can't even do online sports betting in the state of Kansas. Kansas legislature made progress in 2021 to update gaming laws to legalize it. Still, things remain woefully slow for those in this state who would like online gambling. Even at the 10 land-based casinos, you cannot do sports betting in any form.

While you do have offshore gambling places, it does remain illegal. However, the chances of prosecution are said to be incredibly low. Whoever would choose that route, however, takes it at their own risk.
