PointsBet launches iGaming platform in West Virginia
West Virginia online casino players now have access to another online casino that joins an elite group of providers that are already established in the state. PointsBet, welcome to West Virginia. PointsBet was a little late on the U.S. online casino scene with its iGaming casino platform, but they are ready for action in WV.
Upon hitting the home landing page, casino players are immediately greeted with a standard online casino format. The format includes the requisite advertising banner, featured games, and administrative information at the bottom. Overall, the website is attractive, functional, organized, and easy to navigate. Unfortunately, the selection of available games is quite limited.
Casino players can access the site via a PC/laptop or a downloadable native mobile app that is fully compatible with most mobile operating systems, including iOS and Android.
PointsBet's online casino platform includes a proprietary infrastructure that allows for the integration of casino games from most top software developers. Currently, the casino is offering casino players access to casino games mainly from IGT. That includes about a dozen slots and a very small selection of table games and live dealer games. Casino players might want to look at the games menu as a "starter kit." In the near future, PointsBet should be in the market to add hundreds of games from Netent and other top developers with live casino support from Evolution Gaming.
Even though slots are limited, here are a few recognizable titles: Wheel of Fortune Megaways, Scarab, The $100,000 Pyramid, and Pixies of the Forest. The current list of table games includes a couple of versions each of blackjack and roulette. The current list of live dealer games includes Dream Catcher, blackjack, roulette, Three Card Poker, and Lightning Dice.
Currently, the bonus menu for West Virginia casino players is empty. That will surely change very soon. Assuming they go with something similar to what PointsBEt is offering in Michigan and New Jersey, casino players will be pleased. They can expect to see a competitive welcome bonus and access to the PointsBet VIP program at a minimum.
The banking options for West Virginia casino players are pretty much set. Players will have access to the same options being offered in the PointsBEt sportsbook. That includes the following options: credit cards (VISA, MasterCard), paynearme, PayPal, and bank transfer options. Banking limits are available through the customer service department.
If casino players want to speak with a PointsBet representative, they may do so by phone, email, or the website's live chat option.
Verdict: At this point, it would not be fair to judge the PointsBEt West Virginia Casino. It's new, and lots of work needs to be done. Hopefully, West Virginia players will see those improvements in the very near future.
