Resorts Casino Offers $1,000 Bonus to New Jersey Players

01/18/2018

Atlantic City is striving to become relevant once again as a gambling center in the United States. It was once a place that people would compare directly to Las Vegas, but those days are long gone. Atlantic City has definitely been on the decline in terms of gambling for a long time. However, there are certain casinos there which are refusing to go down without a fight.

The Golden Nugget Atlantic City is one casino that is getting innovative with their offerings. They were one of the first casinos in the city to go ahead and put up an online casino. This is legal in Atlantic City, and they were quick to snap up the opportunity to service their customers in this way.

On the online casino, the Golden Nugget Atlantic City has now decided to offer live dealer Texas Hold'em. This is a breakthrough in a way because a lot of players have complained that online poker just feels rigged to them. Those who play on other websites (legal or otherwise) seem to get the sense that there is just something not quite right about the game play. They feel that it is rigged against them in many cases.

Regardless of how valid of an argument there is to be made for online poker being corrupted or not, having the live dealer in a Texas Hold'em game is critically important. This takes away any chance of manipulation of the game. Participants in the game can see the dealer literally revealing the cards from a real deck. That is important for the peace of mind for the players. At the very least they know they are playing in a game that was on the up and up.

The Golden Nugget has offered live dealer versions of several other popular casino games in the past, but by extending this to poker as well, they become the first to offer that live dealer action for an online Texas Hold'em Poker game. Executives at the company say that this just goes to show the level of commitment that the Golden Nugget has to their players and their business model.
